The clinic is closing June 1, 2019. No new patient appointments can be made in May. Sorry for any inconvenience.
NOTE FROM THE DOCTOR:
Dear valued patients, friends and supporters-
In the past week a new development has happened in my life.
I have been offered a job doing research. After much deliberation and mixed emotions, I have decided to accept the position. It is a one-of-a-kind position that does not come around every day. I will be able to develop a new skill set in medicine and I look forward to working in a team atmosphere again. It was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. However, this means that I will be closing my practice to appointments June 1st.
This decision was finalized earlier this week and I wanted to waste no time getting it to you!
I want to make sure that all of the wonderful patients that have put their medical needs in my hands get the best transfer of care I can make possible. Fortunately, there are a wealth of other integrative providers in the Methow Valley that I am positive can serve your needs.
I realize that sometimes it takes a while to get appointments to new medical providers so I will keep my phone and fax number available for 4 months (until October 2019) after my close date so I can get your records to your new medical providers as fast as possible. I will retain your records for 5-10 years after the office closes as that is legally required.
I wanted to get this significant news to you as quickly as possible so I have used my newsletter and website to inform patients. All active patients will receive a letter in the mail reviewing this information as well as some personalized options for provider referrals. I will also include a release of records authorization form so I can facilitate your records to your next provider as quickly as possible.
I have appreciated the amazing support from this community in so many ways. It has been a pleasure and honor to serve you, your friends and your family.
I will still be in the valley as the position is based online so hopefully I will see you around the community!
